KitSound Clash Wired Headphone – Design
KitSound specialises in designing innovative audio solutions that stand out due to their smart design and sound quality, and these Clash headphones are no exception. The first thing that struck me was how lightweight they felt, which is of course one of the main things to look for when buying a pair of headphones.
However, while lightweight headphones can sometimes feel flimsy, this was not the case with the KitSound Clash, as they have been built to last and that’s evident in their overall design.
The headphones hinges and frame are made with high-grade aluminium and have a brushed finish in black (with a contrasting lime green underside) that gives them a polished and edgy appearance.
The ear cups are fully padded and can be folded inwards, which makes this headphone set very compact and easy to store away when it’s not being used.
As for the headband, it’s also padded all over with a soft but durable material and it has an adjustable slider that allows you to easily find the most comfortable fit.
There’s also a built-in inline microphone that allows you to easily answer hands-free phone calls, and a music/voice call switch is placed along the cable.
KitSound Clash On-Ear Headphone – Audio
The KitSound Clash come with two 40mm drivers that make for an enjoyable listening experience and powerful sound. I was especially impressed at how loud these headphones could be before any distortion could be noticed and at how well they handled bass notes. This is possible thanks to the headphones’ wide frequency range, which goes from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Another bonus point is that KitSound seems to have found a way to get rid of the all-too-common syncing delays that tend to ruin your experience when using headphones to watch media files that combine video and audio (for example Netflix).
In addition, the KitSound’s Clash audio quality can be evaluated in terms of how it performs on voice calls, and they cannot be faulted on this front either, as there was no crackling or hissing during testing.
KitSound Clash – Comfort Test
As with any headphone, comfort is key. I was able to keep these on for well over 2 hours before it started to get uncomfortable. The adjustable headbands are a really nice touch; the ear cups are quite comfortable for people with small ears, like me. Comfort wise I would definitely give the KitSound Clash a well deserved 8/10.

This pair of KitSound headphones come with a 3-feet detachable cable (your average 3.5mm AUX wire) that makes them compatible with a wide range of devices, from the latest smartphone models to PCs or video game consoles. All you need to do is plug and play.
